Leeds PIPES Gains Regional Coverage

The Leeds PIPES project launch has been featured in the Yorkshire Evening Post alongside interviews with Councillor Lucinda Yeadon and Vital Energi’s Group Sales and Strategy Director Nick Gosling who discuss the benefits of the scheme.

Pupils from the local Leeds Co-operative Academy marked the launch of the scheme in an event hosted by Vital and Leeds City Council. The Year 9 students had earlier been involved in a competition to choose a name for the project with the winner being announced as the Leeds PIPES Network. Standing for Providing Innovative Pro-Environment Solutions, the creative name was suggested by four students who were all awarded with prizes for their contributions.
