The work on Saxton Gardens Energy Centre continues to make progress and we have recently achieved some significant milestones which will now enable further works to take place.

One of the major achievements was the final demolition of the existing boiler house and this enabled the final three 11MW boilers to be delivered week commencing 8^th July.  Each boiler weighs a massive 20 tonnes, which meant we had to create a strong and stable base and the floor slabs were poured in late June and were hardened and ready to support the boilers upon their arrival.

Looking to the future, the final steelwork for the façade will be installed during the week commencing 15^th July which will allow us to then install the cladding and the louvres and the expected completion date for the external façade is July.
