Phase 4a Of The Leeds PIPES Scheme Will Commence This Summer

As part of the ongoing works to connect buildings to the Leeds PIPES heat network, our team will be commencing Phase 4a of the scheme this summer.

These works will take place from 7.30 am – 18.00 pm, Monday – Friday, with the possibility of occasional evening or weekend work. These works will involve road excavations from 7.00 am on Monday 28th July 2025, completing Wednesday 15th October 2025 at 18.00 pm.

Weekend work on both Saturdays and Sundays will be required to take place on Westgate from 28th July 2025 until 29th August 2025, subject to change depending on how the project progresses.

This will result in various lane and road closures, parking bay suspensions, and pedestrian management on Westgate, Park Square West, Park Square South and St. Pauls Place.

A number of traffic and footpath diversions have been put in place and can be found in the following pages, relating to the work that will be completed within the 3 month period.

We will strive to keep any disruption and noise to a minimum as we connect more of Leeds City Centre to reliable, affordable, low carbon, heating and hot water.
