Delivering vital climate education workshops to local schools

Recently, Vital Energi colleagues have visited Strawberry Fields Primary School and Ireland Wood Primary School in Leeds to deliver Climate Education sessions.

The sessions covered a range of climate change-related topics, exploring the intricacies of weather, the nuances of climate change, and delving into the world of carbon emissions.

The session then moved onto how Vital Energi are creating change in the industry, the benefits of Leeds PIPES project, and what small changes the students could make at home that would have a big impact on the environment.

Throughout the workshop, students were encouraged to reinforce their newfound knowledge via interactive games, before it concluded with a game of higher and lower, which not only proved to be a fun-filled activity but also extended into multiple rounds, showcasing the enthusiasm and passion from the students!
